Google's News Search

Google has introduced a new Usenet search engine called Advanced News Search. You can search headlines by < strong >date, location, exact phrases or publication. People can use it retrieve articles from more than 4,500 news outlets publishing on the Web (dating from June 2003).

I guess it is trying to compete with news services such as News Now.
